Energy is something we all wish we could get more of in any given day. You can’t buy it, sell it, and can only obtain it through macronutrients. We all could use a little boost of energy unless you know how to make it.

I have tried a number of vitamins and foods that are supposed to boost my energy, yet it never works. I was searching recently and I found magnetic bracelets. These things were big a number of years ago, died down, and seems like they are picking up popularity again.

I never quite understood how they worked and the only benefit I heard was the energy boost these bracelets provided. I wanted to give the magnetic bracelet a try so I did a little research and was surprised what I found. These magnetic bracelets are actually used for medical conditions such as osteoporosis, arthritis, cancer and chronic fatigue syndrome just to name a few.

The magnetic bracelet has some big money attached to it. Nearly 5 billion is the estimated revenue tied to these bracelets.

So what makes these bracelets so popular?

Well, magnetic bracelets were once thought to work by counteracting the abnormal magnetic field that would occur from the onset of diseases. In addition, the bracelets were also thought to attract the iron in the red blood cells which would result in better circulation.

In both situations this turned out to not be true.

One of the popular benefits (that still have not been tested) is the belief that magnets will aid in producing a less acidic environment. Since the belief that cancer has a hard time surviving in a low acidic environment the magnet will prevent the spread of tumors. There still needs to be research to see if this is true but for right now the promoters of these bracelets are sticking to this theory.

If you haven’t realized, the magnetic bracelets have no scientific research stating that they truly work. Everything about this products promotion is based on believing that it works! I was a skeptic about this product yet I was hoping that I was wrong. Well it looks like I will have to continue my search for energy in a bottle.
